Stock motor mounts aren’t cutting it? No wonder these mounts found their way into BMW racers all over the world.These are machined from solid aluminum and have zero deflection. The engine torque will cause the rubber orurethane mount to flex or deflect. Due to the fact aluminum does not flex it provides less movement of the engineand transmission which gives a smoother, crisper shifting since transmission is no longer jumping on the softrubber/urethane mount. The shift linkage will feel much better aswell since the transmission movement under loadwill be eliminated. These mounts are not affected by the “elements” such as oil, and other fluids so these will outlast the life of the vehicle. These are designed to perfectly balance engine and transmission and align the center of gravityto improve handling.These have been tested on race/street driven cars. The vibrations can be harsh on some vehicles, however our test streetE36 does not have huge vibrations.
